Itineraries

Morning

  • Enjoy your breakfast in Hanoi before your driver picks you up at 8:00 to transfer to Hoang Su Phi in Ha Giang province.
  • On your approach to Ha Giang, you’ll pass through some of Vietnam’s most beautiful scenery.
  • Sightsee rice terraces carved into the hillsides and rock formations separated by spectacular canyons.
  • Come across ethnic minorities who survive mostly on farming rice in terraced fields.
  • Take a short break for lunch.

Afternoon

  • You’ll check in Pan Hou Village Ecolodge and the Chay River Valley when you arrive.

Night

  • Fill your belly with local food such as Com Lam (rice in bamboo tube), carp, rat meat, and horse intestines.
  • Get your overnight in Hoang Su Phi.

  • Trek on the roads to Ba Be, which are rocky and zigzag across the highlands.
  • Get the opportunity to meet individuals from many ethnic groups, including the Hmong, Dao, Tay, and Nung, and learn more about their lives and cultures.

    Night

  • Reach Ba Be in the late afternoon.
  • After getting your dinner at your hotel or eateries near there, relax in your private area.

  • Sightseeing the Nang River flows through Puong Cave, which is a major cave in the park’s northwestern corner. The main cave is around 300 meters long and more than 50 meters high.
  • Visit the Dau Dang waterfall, which is made up of a series of rapids that span almost a kilometer and are near the Nang River.
  • Enjoy your lunch and take a nap.

Afternoon

  • Pay a visit to Widow Island, a tiny, cone-shaped islet near the southern lake’s center.
  • Kayaks will be available on board for exploring tiny streams and lagoons.

Night

Morning

  • Have breakfast, enjoy a peaceful life in the village, say goodbye to the host family, and travel back to Hanoi.
