1. Vinh Trang Temple
Vinh Trang Temple is the greatest pagoda of Tien Giang Province with many beautiful trees. It was built in 1849 in My Phong village, My Tho city. The beautiful structure features a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese and Angkor (Cambodian) architectural styles.

2. Cai Be Floating Market
Cai Be Floating Market is still the principle attraction on a boat tour from Vinh Long, though it has shrunk considerably due to the building of bridges in the delta and the subsequent transportation of goods by road rather than river. The market is at its best around 6 a.m.. Wholesalers on big boats moor here, each specialises in different types of fruit or vegetable and hangs samples of their goods from tall wooden poles. It’s an hour by boat from Vinh Long.

3. Sa Dec Market
Sadec market is a typical Mekong Delta market, where you can find all the local products and fresh food. In addition, you can find they sale the alive chicken and a lot of raw fish. The market is on the river, so it is nice place to visit.
4. Sau Hoai’s Rice Noodle Factory
The rice noodle maker’s trademark dish has gained lots of foreign tourist fans. Sau Hoai’s rice noodle factory has recently been added to the itineraries of many tourists. Almost every day, between 5:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. groups of foreign backpackers arrive at the factory on vo lai (wooden boats operated with motors).
5. Ong Temple
In a fantastic location facing the Can Tho River and decorated with huge incense coils, this Chinese temple is set inside the Guangzhou Assembly Hall, and wandering through its incense-coil-filled interior is very enjoyable. It was originally built in the late 19th century to worship Kuang Kung, a deity symbolizing loyalty, justice, reason, intelligence, honour and courage, among other merits.

6. Quang Duc Pagoda
Quang Duc Pagoda maintains a shiny appearance with ornate wooden doors opening a path to a giant golden sitting Buddha flanked by flowers. Located on Mau Than Street is one of the biggest and most active Buddhist temples with monks living in the premises. Visitors are welcome at any time of the day. There are fewer people during the afternoon, when it is rather hot, but it gets very lively often in the evenings. This Buddhist temple emerges from the noise like a blessing. Located in the noisiest street of Can Tho, Quang Duc pagoda is a great opportunity to retreat and marvel at beauty. At Quang Duc Pagoda, you can enjoy the elegance of its beautifully carved door, pillars and blinds.

7. Sam Mountain
Travelling almost 6km to the west of Chau Doc Town, An Giang Province, you will have a chance to view the 230m-high Sam Mountain with beautiful landscapes and many historic remains.
Sam Mountain is the highest mountain in the Mekong Delta. On the way there, you can enjoy the sights of the two paddy fields along the road, and drop by for a short visit to a small Khmer village. You will have a short walk up on the mountain side to see the daily life of mountain people. There are dozens of pagodas and temples, many of them set in caves, around Sam Mountain. The Chinese influence is obvious and Sam Mountain is a favourite spot for ethnic Chinese (both pilgrims from Vietnam and abroad).

8. Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House
The 119-year-old house owned by the Huynh Thuy family is famous for its unique architecture – a mixture of Southern Vietnamese, French and Chinese styles. The house witnessed the passionate love affair between Marguerite Duras – the well-known French writer who penned the famous novel L’Amant (The Lover) – and Huynh Thuy Le, a son of the Huynh Family.
9. Viet Artisans
The home of the main character in French writer Marguerite Duras’s novel “The Lover” in Sa Dec town, Dong Thap province has been listed as one of Vietnam’s most impressive destinations by the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations.
10. Mui Ca Mau (Ca Mau Cape)
People are often eager to rush to Ca Mau Cape just to have a chance to touch the southern point of Vietnam.
