  • DAY 1

    Luang Prabang Arrival
    Warmly welcome on arrival by our guide & driver then transfer to the hotel for check in. Today, we set out for a sightseeing tour which includes stops at the important Luang Prabang temples like Wat Visoun and Wat Aham. Next, we have occasion to climb up to the top of Phousi Hill for enjoying gilded stupa and beautiful sunset view of the city and Mekong River. After that, we can continue to explore Night Market, where you can find a collection of locally handmade textiles product and others.

  • DAY 2

    Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves
    ​Have breakfast at Hotel. Then Guide & driver pick you for transfer to the city’s oldest temple Wat Sen and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its low sweeping roofs. We then board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside and an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, sanctuaries consisting of two large caverns, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images. Along the way, we also stop at a few villages including Ban Xanghai where the local rice wine is produced. Once back in Luang Prabang city we will take a short drive to Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek where are well known for handmade paper product.

  • DAY 3

    Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Waterfalls
    ​An optional early start gives you a chance to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron clad monks. Being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession, this tradition is unique in Laos. After breakfasts, we continue to go to Phousi Market, where you see many local products for sale such as tea, food, vegetables and souvenirs,.
    In the afternoon, we drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls near Luang Prabang to visit local villages and swim in the turquoise pools or walk along forest paths. The rest of day is free to enjoy on your own.

  • DAY 4

    Luang Prabang – Xieng Khouang – Plain of Jars
    Today, we spend about 6 hours drive to Xieng Khouang which was devastated by American bombing between 1964 and 1973 while visiting some local hill tribe villages along the way. Upon arrival at Phonsavan, we’ll continue to visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are littered throughout the plateau.

  • DAY 5

    Xieng Khouang – Vientiane
    In the early morning, we will visit the Central Market of Phonsavan to watch the different hill tribe people barter and exchange merchandise then enjoy free time to further explore the town before our flight to Vientiane.

    The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After checking into hotel (if time permits) we’ll continue to visit Lao - Thai Friendship Bridge and the Buddha Park to see a display of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by mystical monks on the Mekong River.

  • DAY 6

    Vientiane
    8:30 After breakfast, we start exploring Vientiane capital by visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest temple Wat Sisaket with thousands of Buddha statues and former temple for the Lao Royals of Wat Phra Kaew, which used to enshrine the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Next is Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of Pha That Luang, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the victory monument Patuxay or "Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane".
    ​In the afternoon, visit other temples in the city: Wat Ong Teu, Wat Inpeng and Wat Haisok. We pass by the major shopping area continuing to the Vientiane Central Market of Talad Sao, where many various goods are displayed including goods, souvenirs, textiles, gold, silver and antiques. Enjoy in the evening sunset along the Mekong River

  • DAY 7

    Vientiane – Pakse – Champasak – Si Phan Don
    ​After breakfast we’ll take an early flight toPakse. When we arrive, we’ll take drive along the National Road No. 13, south toward Champasak and visit the ruins of Wat Phou which is located at the base of mount Phu Kao and well known as the most important Hindu sanctuary of the Khmer Empire (9th - 13th century).
    Coming here, we can admire this unique structure and later became a centre of Theravada Buddhist worship. After a short visiting, we continue to visit island Don Khong of Si Phan Don (4000 Islands) by traditional local slow boat.

  • DAY 8

    Si Phan Don
    Today, we will take cruise to the widest area of the Mekong River from where thousands of islands jut out in dry season, it’s name 'Si Phan Don' which is characterized by numerous islands. Along the way, we’ll take a stop at Li Phi Waterfalls and Ban Khone where fishermen often use trap & net to catch fish in the pool base of the fall.

    On return, we take a short drive to the Lao-Cambodian border at Weukham and the nearby impressive waterfalls Khone Phapheng, which are one of the biggest waterfalls in South East Asia.

    Si Phan Don – Tad Lo – Pakse
    Leave Don Khong, continue our journey towards Tad Lo, through the Boloven Plateau past scenic countryside. The deep contrast of lush vegetation and red surface of basaltic soil is incredible all along the way. We make stopover at hill tribe villages of ethnic minority people like Katu, Alak, Nge...
    Drive to Pakse for night stay.
